Multi-instrumentalist Joydeep Mukherjee belongs to the traditional Senia Shahjehanpur Gharana. Born in West Bengal in 1982, he learned music since 1987 from an early age of four years under the tutelage of the illustrious Guru, Acharya Pranab Kumar Naha, (a notable disciple of the legendary musician Late Pt. Radhika Mohan Maitra) until his unfortunate demise on 10th May, 2024.
