UBC Seismic Design

The UBC Seismic Design Team brings together students with an interest in structural and earthquake engineering to compete in the annual Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition. Students work together to apply their engineering knowledge in designing, testing, and building a scale model of a high-rise building that is both architecturally pleasing and seismically stable.
